Around our house we try to make as many products ourselves as we can. Not only does it end up costing less, usually, but we also know exactly what ingredients we’re putting on our bodies.
Let’s start with something I think all of us use daily as an example-Deodorant. An average deodorant will run you $5.00 a pop and has upwards of 15 ingredients in it. By the end of this article, you’ll know how to make you own for much less and with only 3 ingredients, 4 if you choose to add in a scent.
Get ready to raid your kitchen.
What you’ll need-
¼ cup Coconut oil
3 tablespoons Corn Starch
1 ½ tablespoons Baking Soda
30 drops of essential oil
Step 1-Put the coconut oil into a bowl and bring it to a liquid state by microwaving briefly
Step 2-Add the corn starch and baking soda and stir
Step 3- Add in essential oil and stir until everything is completely mixed
Step 4-Add the mixture to a mason jar or left over deodorant container
That’s literally it. When you’re ready to use it, get some on your hand and rub it in.
